Why MCSA?
A recognized gap exists between the one-exam Microsoft Certified
Professional (MCP) and the seven-test Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer (MCSE) certifications.
That gap is where the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
certification comes into play. MCSA fills the Microsoft
certification gap by focusing on those individuals who keep
Microsoft networks running.
What is MCSA?
MCSA is a four-test credential that fills the systems administrator's
job role. The MCSA focuses on implementing, managing and
troubleshooting existing network and system environments based on
the Microsoft Windows 2000 and .NET server operating systems.
The MCSA certification
could be used also as stepping-stone on the way to becoming an MCSE.
What exams must be passed for MCSA certification?
To become MCSA-certified on Microsoft Windows 2000, you must pass
four exams, three core and one elective, that provide a valid and
reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise in
administering and supporting existing Windows 2000-based systems.
At Computer Education Institute we help
you in preparing for your exams. We have lab times and
practice tests designed to reinforce your newly acquired skills and
to identify any needed areas of possible improvement. When that test
day comes you can take it with confidence at CEI.
